WHO ARE WE?:

We're Wraptious, an organisation that supports artists by promoting, sharing and selling their awesome work on our award-winning giftware. We also offer bespoke production services for artists and trade customers, providing much needed support in a world where it is hard for artists to be recognised.

The personal information we collect, for example when you purchase an item, might include your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and IP address. If you purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

HOW IS THE INFORMATION USED?

We may use your information to:

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity. Unless you ask us to delete this information, which we are happy to oblige.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may pass your information to our third party providers and other associated organisations for the sole purposes of completing tasks and providing services and product to you on our behalf. For example, we work closely with various third party product providers to bring you a range of quality and reliable products and services. When you purchase one of our products, the relevant third party product provider will use your details to carry out their obligations in providing you with the service or product you have requested.

However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Wraptious for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order.

We also use Shopify to power our online store – you can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. SECURITY PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE TO PROTECT THE LOSS, MISUSE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR INFORMATION

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any information you send to us is transmitted via HTTP and encrypted by Transport Layer Security (TLS). When you are on a secure page, this will be visible to you as a lock icon which will appear the bottom of web browsers or at the top near the URL field, and by the fact that the address for the website begins ‘https://’ rather than ‘http://’.

Whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

USE OF 'COOKIES'

Like many other websites, the Wraptious website uses cookies. ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns, the webpages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site and do not identify you as an individual. For example, we use cookies to store your country preference. This helps us to improve our website and deliver a better more personalised service.

It is possible to switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, please visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org

OTHER DEVICE INFORMATION

Whilst visiting our Sites, certain information is automatically logged about how you are using our Sites. This information includes the URL of the website which linked you to our Site, your IP address and the pages you visit whilst on our Sites. The IP address links the location of your computer on the internet. These logs enable us to prevent users who breach our terms and conditions by refusing communications from their IP address.

Some of the emails we send you may contain a ‘web beacon pixel’ which allows us to identify when you have opened the email and to verify which links and adverts contained in the email you have accessed. We use this information to determine which parts of our emails are of most interest to you. You can delete the pixel by deleting the email. If you do not wish to download the pixel to your computer or other device, you can do so by selecting to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website may contain links to other websites run by other organisations. This privacy policy applies only to our website, so we encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using links from our website. In addition, if you linked to our website from a third party site, we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners and operators of the third party site and recommend that you check the policy of that third party site.

TRANSFERRING YOUR INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF EUROPE

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU, such as Canada and the United States. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the UK. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. If we transfer your information outside of the EU in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Policy. If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.

We keep this policy under regular review. This policy was last updated in March 2024.
