Tracey lives in leafy Surrey. Using acrylics (‘because they dry quickly and I’m impatient!’), she paints from images she creates in her mind and admits they don’t always end up as she first imagines; she says the occasional ‘mistake’ usually ends up looking completely natural. The wildflower landscapes are a result of her visualising lying in a meadow with the sun beating down, although this rarely actually happens! She is very proud of her Poppy Series of paintings Inspired by the installation at the Tower of London in 2014.
